IEEE SA Launched New Working Group P1955: Shaping the Future of Robotics with 6G [Standards]

The IEEE Standards Association (SA) approved the formation of a groundbreaking new working group, IEEE P1955: “6G Empowering Robotics” (6GRobo). This pioneering initiative, operating under the IEEE COM/MobiNet-SC and jointly sponsored by IEEE RAS/SC, is set to define the foundational framework for how the next generation of mobile network technology, IMT-2030 (aka 6G), will revolutionize robotics applications.
