December 2023 marks the end of my term as president of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS), and this will be my last editorial article for this magazine. My greatest privilege these past two years has been working with some of the most exceptional people that I have ever met: all professionally accomplished and immensely talented, but it is their spirit of selfless volunteerism and their dedication to serving their community that has been truly inspiring. Any progress that we’ve achieved these past two years is entirely owed to their efforts.
