Standards– New IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Standards Study Group on Service Robotics

Since the last “Standards” column, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society’s (RAS’s) Standing Committee for Standards Activities has approved a new study group to explore the development of a service robot standard. This article describes that study group and solicits participation from others in the community who are interested.
