For those of you unfamiliar with CES, it is the largest consumer electronics trade show in the world (the organizers insist that CES is no longer an initialism for anything but simply the world’s premier technology showcase) that this year attracted over 3,200 exhibitors and 115,000 participants to Las Vegas. I spent the past two days roaming its massive halls in an attempt to grasp the latest technology trends, and more generally trying to discern the outlines of what our future may look like.
